Marloes ten Bhömer launches ‘Beigefoldedshoe’, a shoe made from a single piece of folded leather and stainless steel heel construction, which stems from one of her visionary footwear concepts, transformed into a wearable shoe through two years of design and engineering development. Hand made in the UK, and incorporating technical expertise from international manufacturers.
Berber Soepboer / Michiel Schuurmando – Do it yourself dresses
Berber Soepboer approached Michiel Schuurman in August 2008 to design the textile for a series of dresses. The COLOURING & the ASSEMBLY dresses were shown on the 7th of September in Bergeick in ‘De Ploeg’, a very famous textile factory.
Mary Katrantzou, in her new collection, hypper-real imagery is futher explored combining jewellery and ruffle prints. Colour blocking hives the collection a graphic edge, with pop inspired colours: orange, pink and bright yellow with real real jewellery! woooooooooow!
