So often do we go to bed, wake up (repeat) that we rarely stop to realize the adventure that our bodies and minds take us on each and every day. This dreamy 6-song EP successfully sets a soundtrack to this daily journey and takes into consideration that each and every time we put our heads on our pillows the outcome can be drastically different.

Fenderchet puts these abstract happenings into audio form with nods to Boards of Canada, Tycho and Aphex Twin’s ambient works. Never beating the same drum twice, new sounds and ideas are constantly introduced, expanded upon and gently tucked away with each section of every song.

Falcon, Venezuela seems like a billion miles away from Stockholm, Sweden. Because it is. What Fenderchet has done with these songs is transcend distance and time. He’s banked on honesty and emotion and, without a doubt, succeeded.

AH is releasing Electricwest’s ‘MOTH3R’ more a bonus album ‘R3MIXES’ that reinterprets the album’s 11 songs through 11 different artists, including Electricwest himself. It features a mix of ambient drones to start the album off, flowing gradually into more beat-oriented, dub and idm.

Disembodied voices become embedded within the dissonance and unearthed in the melodies. The album confronts listeners with a polarity between dark, anxious and crawling sonics against more calm and optimistic moments.

After his debut “Run Stop EP”, released on hippocamp in 2008, DRIL aka Tony Williams returns with an eight track mini album on laridae.at

Ctor or constructor denotes an adjustment from the previous form. Composed over a three week period in winter 2008, the album features analog melodies over broken electro beats, flavoured with elements of idm and early industrial. A sort of dark, omnipresent 80s flair grounds these 8 cold and abstract pieces of oldschool music.

Esa Ruoho is always on the go around the Electronica/IDM globe. Thus it is more than a touch of fortune that his restless wanderings washed him to our shores where he left behind a little chest for you.
Five lush Electronica pearls have been aligned to a handy EP under his most famous moniker, which shows certainly proof of not only some kind of concept but also of the unquestionable mastership that Esa exposes in all his musical works. Without trendy side blows some grumblers might call it traditional but the more enlightened listener is fairly aware that glistening tunes and sophisticated beat architecture in broad cinemascope will never ever become obsolete.

About the artist

Esa Ruoho aka Lackluster hails from Kontula, Eastern Helsinki, Finland, and has been composing instrumental electronic music since 1994.
Influenced by early warp, early detroit, and his local peers, he has established a status as a permanently bubbling under artists. Growing up on the demoscene led him to embrace trackers, and later sequencers – anything goes.
He releases on various labels and netlabels maxis and full-length albums.

«Come and get another dose of ‘pharmakustik’. ‘Autolysis’ is yet another sonic adventure from aural waves investigator Siegmar Fricke. Fricke is a veteran experimentalist and has managed to come up with a truly unique m.o. in music composition and arrangement. His works are an intricate web of sounds woven from scientific formulae and experiments translated from theory into practice. Siegmar calls this technique ‘Pharmakustik’, perhaps as a hint to the medical qualities of his creations. All os his releases follow a methodology and are the result of that same methodology.

About ‘Autolysis’ he writes: “Decomposition of necrotic rhythm-cells within organic ambiences by the action of phaser-modules. The aural operator recycles the postmortal sequences from acoustic death by the process of bit-reduced autolysis.” This is the experience you’ll be listening to.
