Fernando Hereñú AKA Pulpo Corporate is an illustrator born in April 16, 1977 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He worked as a designer for Cartoon Network for about 4 years. His free-style recalls 1970s comicbook illustration, with dark colors and back shapes outlining typically used in character and comic design.
“Through striking visual imagery, pulpo communicates profound visions and fears, nostalgia of his youth, and themes of future, past, and sex.”
Pulpo’s art is constantly growing and changing via strong aesthetics and visual language though his figurative subjects remain constant. Relies heavily on a monotone palette of black, white and orange. At times Pulpo’s work has had a strong minimalist and simplistic bent while relying on his elaborate language and definite style somewhere between the Art Nouveau images of Audrey Beardsley and the mystical and weird language of the underground American Commix. He was inspired by artists such us Peter Bagge, Yoshitoshi and Travis Millard.
In his style it is important to see the extremes of human shapes elongated and rounded for the ultimate simplistic, dramatic iconic human symbols. Thus illustrating his interest in human imperfection and extremes. ”

Iluminando os fatos sob o único punto de vista que interesa: o do leitor.
Tudo que o ser humano faz tem uma consequencia. Para ele mesmo e para o mundo.
If your home is your world, look how polluted it is.
It is not your home that needs renovation. It is your way of thinking.
Our planet is the place where you live. Avoid an eviction notice.

Ximena Escobar - My Toast
Since the age of four, Ximena Escobar has been illustrating. Born and raised in Colombia she graduated with honours from a BA in graphic design. She then moved to London to get an MA in Textiles Futures at Central Saint Martins College.
In this project, she uses white and whole-grain bread as a tool and excuse for design and mixing it with other media, like illustration and digital graphics.
