CONCEPTO [Español]
Electrica es una plataforma nacional e internacional dedicada a la cultura electronica y audiovisual. Los artistas nacionales y internationales mas representativos de la escena se daran turno una vez al mes, para dar vida a un ocasión única que incluye: aprendizaje, arte, música, diseño y tecnología.
Electrica ofrece tres dias al mes de inmersión total en actividades programadas que tendran como fin elevar el conocimiento de la cultura audiovisual en xalapa posicionando la imagen de Veracruz en México y en el mundo.
Electrica tiene como fin desaparecer las barreras de acceso a la información artistica contemporanea pretendiendo ser un contenedor de todas la disciplinas electronicas dando impulso a artistas independientes locales, nacionales e internacionales.
Contará basicamente con dos plataformas distintas:
- Un escenario educativo: Formado por artistas, maestros, y expertos en el sector que darán vida a una ocasión única de intercambio, búsqueda y demostración en vivo en el ambito del arte audiovisual: talleres, conferencias, demos y presentaciones impartidos por los mayores expertos del sector que acercaran al público a las fronteras de nuevos medios.
- Un escenario performativo: Performance audio/video, Dj/Vj Set e instalaciones serán realizados por numerosos artistas participantes, ofreciendo al público una prueba del trabajo propio, en una presentación continua de exhibiciones hechas en vivo.
Electrica es producido y organizado por Fabrik Project en conjunto con Breathe Compilations, Konami Crew, Colectivo Po y Circuito Electrovisiones gracias a la colaboración de Mescalina Music y La Muerte Chiquita, al soporte institucional del Agora De la Ciudad de Xalapa y del DIF y al soporte mediático del Periodico Centinela.

CONCEPT [English]
Electrica is a national and international platform dedicated to the electronic and audiovisual culture. The most representative national and international artists of the scene they`ll give life to a unique event to promote a movement that includes: learning, art, music, technology and design.
Electrica offers 3 days for month of total immersion in activity programs that will try to elevete the knowing of the audiovisual culture in xalapa raising the image of Veracruz in Mexico and into the world.
Electrica aims to eliminate the barriers of access to contemporary artistic information pretending to be a container for all the electronic disciplines giving impetus to local, national and international independent artists.
Electrica is basically divided in two main branches:
An Educational setting: made by artists, teachers, and experts in the sector, which give life to a unique opportunity to exchange research and live demonstration in the field of audiovisual art workshops, lectures, demos and presentations by leading experts shared the public sector closer to the frontiers of new media.
A performative setting: performance A/V, Dj/Vj Set and Installations will be performed by numerous artists, offering the public a test of the work in a continuous presentation of live show made.
Electrica is produced and hosted by Fabrik Project in conjunction with Breathe Compilations, Konami Crew, Colectivo Po y Circuito Electrovisiones thanx to the colaboration with Mescalina Music y La Muerte Chiquita, to the institutional support by the Agora de la Ciudad de Xalapa and by the DIF and to the mediatic support by Periodico Centinela.

Este taller tendrá como finalidad acercar a interesados en el audio con las herramientas de edición y programación, así como la configuración de dispositivos electrónicos conectados para hacer llegar un sonido, desde el lugar de captación hasta su destino llamando a este proceso cadena de audio, proporcionando así una visión global sobre la manera de trabajar en un pequeño estudio de grabación.
This workshop will have as a goal to get everyone interested in audio with the tools for editing and programming; as well as with the configuration of electronic gadgets plugged in to to release a sound, from the point of origin till its final destination calling this process audio chain, thus providing a global vision over the way to work in an small recording studio.
