[IOD 007] Fjordne - Light passed on through the layer
Fjordne is Shunichiro Fujimoto, a composer B. in Tokyo, Japan. 1975.
She says:
“it all started when i wanted to express music not just based in rhythm.
sounds in nature have rhythm expressed in a long span of time.
i am very interested in this way to express music.”
..speaking about this release Shunichiro Fujimoto says:
“light passed on through the layer” is another look into to the depth of my electro-acoustic atmospheres. The two tracks “To the surface” and “Passing the blue” together make a soundtrack of the flow of water in deep sea…”

A fine dub techno selection of best tunes by Dublicator
It’s really time to release a mix like this. Dublicator is the minimal dub/dub techno project of Tamás Olejnik, a dude from Hungary that put out excellent dub techno releases.

Reminiscent of African ceremonial costumes, yet similarly connected to haute couture, Cave’s Soundsuits are physical manifestations of his energy. He has said, ‘I believe that the familiar must move towards the fantastic. I want to evoke feelings that are unnamed, that aren’t realized except in dreams.’ Thus, through the acts of collecting and reconfiguring, Cave explores and reiterates cultural, ritualistic and ceremonial concepts. Concurrently, his focus on the connotations of materials as a way to construct narratives, coupled with the fact that the wearer is at times completely concealed, allows the work to transcend preconceived notions of class, race, and sexuality. Cave, who studied fiber arts at the Cranbrook Academy of Art, is Associate Professor and Chairman of the Fashion Department at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

[antisocial028] D’incise - Cendre et poudre
Sometimes an incisive poem is the best way to traduce the sounds. A present by D’ incise for Antisocial Netlabel. Breathe!
a still inhabited space meticulous archaeology,
on half-earased pages remained open books,
what others meant and nobody knew how to don’t tell,
silky mineral prints,
time put in flesh and bones,
notes without stave and rhythms without fasteners,
to the powder indifferent breath,
to the ash return cycle.

Geraldine Husson - HYBRID Objects
Géraldine Husson is an artist from France. She works between art and design, exploring the relationship between the body and the space. The flexible materials used for her products allow movements. A soft, fluid, liquid and transferable translated for me the idea of changing state, mutant, like subjectivity, emotion, mobility…
